Flip Phone

 I have a flip phone now, and managed to get my phone number on there and working. I have traveled back in time to flip phone days. Everything on the Internet uses two-factor authentication, and so you can’t do anything without your number. I don’t know what made my old phone break. It was not wet, it did not drop, and it had been working great that morning. By night it barely switched on. I am shopping for a new brand of phone to use now, and got something basic until I know what new thing will work for me. They really need to stop programing phones to break. Instead of inspiring an upgrade it has inspired me to switch companies. I use Google maps to get to work, and a million other job calls on my phone. It is a bad money blow for sure.

Phone Dead

 My phone is dead. My computer is still working, and I live next to the library with computers. That has consumed a huge part of my day. Only send me e-mail until I can get phone repairs done. I had a Tracfone, and they break if you even look at them strange. I was sick of fees premium services like Sprint and T-Mobile charge. They have worked my last nerve as of today, and I am switching phone companies. Let me know if anyone happy with their phone has recommendations.

Voted

I finally voted after verification of my address four places. One of the reasons I was ranting about people not believing my address yesterday was they were trying to keep me from voting this week. I was still doing address verification at the social security office today. I can't believe it is a mistake in a wild political year that people wrongly mixing up my address was a mistake. Why did four government places have it wrong only at voting time? I have a big family in many areas, and I visit them. Nothing normal is happening in any government building these days. Hopefully balance will restore to political power someday soon.

Location Not Real

Dear Internet my location is not real. It has literally NEVER been real on social media or the Internet for years. It is my sad misfortune that when trying Internet dating years ago men tried to drug me, strangle me, punch me, and their female friends tried to help them. I don't want to give abusers a guide book to my front door. I sometimes visit school friends and family in other towns and check in to crowded and well lit dinner, dancing, or theater locations. This does not mean I live there. There are a million app location spoofing programs on the Internet like BlueStacks. I mentioned what online school I was going to, and had to transfer out of that school after making 2 grades of "A" partially due to hackers attacking my student account. I mentioned the name of my online school on social media which I will NEVER do again. One of the reasons cops need a search warrant to enter homes is Americans have the constitutional right to privacy. It is against the law to invade females privacy, and all the information people think they are getting may be very wrong and NOT real. Forcing women into marriage with abuser men is not a good goal at all. I am trying to keep in touch with a few student friends when I post things not jerks.

50 Years Rocky

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Rocky Horror Picture Show being played on Halloween. Fun fact, when I lived in New Orleans I was both Columbia and Magenta in two different productions of the Rocky Horror Picture Show at Loyola University New Orleans and the Prytania theater near campus. They wanted me to do more shows, but I was a university student with oceans of homework so I lacked the free time for that activity. I will always love how many fun friends I met doing a fun and campy Halloween show with many school friends. Fortunately there are a few places near my mom's house in Virginia showing the Rocky Horror, and so I can still go there a bit. My review is it is a great show at any venue.

Double Pumpkin

My daughter and I painted Halloween pumpkins this week. I was teaching at schools doing pumpkin crafts, and it reminded me it was time to do our own. My pumpkin has the pointy eyes on the right. We like to use paint and markers as it takes longer to spoil.

Dance Fun

Halloween is great for dancing parties for people of all ages. I am dusting off my dance trophies I won from dance school competitions when I was a teenager in anticipation of fun Halloween dancing. 

Dancing helped me escape stress enough to graduate high school on the honors program, and to graduate University. I am happy a dancing part of the year has hit again.

Epic Cycling Day

My favorite birthday gift was the Garmin 935 which inspired an epic cycling day on my folding mountain bike. The Garmin 935 is an amazing fitness watch with GPS. I managed to get to Central Library, Sheetz, and back for an 8 mile ride with an amazing sunset.

Thanks For Wishes

Thank you Internet friends for wishing me a happy birthday. It is bittersweet in that I don't get to see all the long distance friends I miss so much very often. I am happy to see them wish me a happy birthday, but unhappy that it reminds me I can't visit them more frequently. It does remind me that I used to be far more socially active, and that I will go to nearby towns to make many new friends soon for events this month. I am a single woman that very much hates having no man to date. Halloween is a great time to meet people at events in towns not in Virginia at all.

Travel Away

It is still my vow to never go out in Virginia night life again. I still love music, but Virginia is a nightmare of con artist scum. One night I went out and a guy screamed "hold this" and the guy put a beer in my hand I was not drinking, and a cigarette in my hand I was not smoking, and snapped a photo. Then he threatened to put the photos all over the Internet if I did not pay him as a bribe. I had no money to give him. It happened dozens of times more before I started slapping men. Men have tried to roofie my water one million times. This NEVER happened in Texas or Louisiana! Virginia has garbage for night life! Road trips away from Virginia are all I will pursue for music, fun, or dating. All people in areas not around Virginia know you are the people I want to socialize with and NEVER Virginia people. It is my birthday this week, and it makes me long to go out and be social, but a road trip far away from Virginia is the only option.

Almost Birthday

The temporary work I got with Kelly Staffing was over faster than I thought, and now I am back to teaching again. I forgot one of the reasons I quit pursuing temp work employment is they often promise far more employment time and money than they can deliver to employees. It is almost my birthday, and having free time to plan a good party with balloons turns out to be the most valuable use of my time. I did make some extra money from the job, and now I can go to extra Halloween activities far from the horrible place that is called Virginia.

New Job

I got a new job plus started this week! I already have a medical assisting certification with Excel and typing from years ago, and was taking light refresher courses in that subject online. In addition I have a University degree, and employment services verified both this month and got me a new job. My other job was not giving me enough work or hours, and I was glad for the upgrade. The job economy is really rough right now, but there are still a few opportunities out there particularly in healthcare jobs. Month 3

This week I had a fight with teacher HR as it marks the 3rd month I had no pay at all. My daughter has a birthday this week I had to borrow gift money. I have been working for days since August, and they are not going to pay me until October 1st. They did not answer my first 8 emails or calls. They do not do this to permanent teachers, and it is just one of the nightmares they inflict on subs. I officially put in applications for hundreds of jobs after getting off the phone. Some jobs pay you weekly, and this one pays you if and when they feel like it maybe someday. How can you pay rent with that?

Too Funny

Too good! All week long I have been applying to secretary jobs, and taking medical assistant secretary refreshing courses online. I made SO much more money filing health insurance forms years ago when I was a medical administrative assistant, and was NOT a teacher. This joke explains why pretty well! I would like to point out that I did pass the education and background check to teach.

Event Done

The online cycling event is done thanks for the help from the other bikes. I made it to 7 miles and a top rank. To participate in a Garmin event log an activity. Then go to the event link on the phone app. There are three dots in the upper right of the corner press link activity to participate. I used to love the step counter Fitbit, but after Google bought it it went to the pits. Garmin in contrast has step counters with GPS, and my review is it is better for cycling. I have made the switch to Garmin now for the new badges and fun groups with online races.

Night School

I had to be on the phone on hold for what felt like one million years for night school today. At long last I was able to fully transfer and enroll in a new online night school for a master's degree. I had to verify student loans over the phone. After a while it reminded me of a surreal video game like the jokes below.

No Breaks

I was given one lunch break in a week of work this week teaching at Bird High. I had to file a supervisor complaint as a co-worker locked up my bag with no permission while giving me no breaks. In addition I was sick with an intestinal infection and asthma, and badly needed prescription medicines that needed to be taken with food to be able to work. It was in the locked away bag. I had none of it when needed. My co-worker was nurse Rachet from the Cuckoo's Nest movie. I am transferring as of this week. This is why I am constantly applying to jobs far away from this area of Virginia, and am planning to move far away. The many sadistic people are very imaginative, and given total power without supervision.

County Fair

It is almost county fair time here in Chesterfield. One good thing about the area I am in is the fair with rides and music is only a 30 minute bike ride away from my house.

Last Day Summer

Time flies in summer for teachers. August 18 is the first day back from summer break in Chesterfield, VA schools. That makes Friday the last workday off from school before I have to wake up at 5 in the morning daily. I miss the money and the people, but I don't miss the stress. I wrote several articles for the school newspaper in high school saying I wished all schools would have year-round school. As a grown up I also wish they would go year-round with a couple weeks of break. Students need massive schoolwork reviews after the summer break, students act bad before and after the break, teachers lack summer pay, teachers often need extra summer jobs, summer daycare is expensive for parents, and worst of all is the shock to the system of sleeping late before going back to early school. European schools only have a short break for summer then their students have better scores for University. Maybe someday a good system will become normal in the USA. Meanwhile I will soon miss sleeping.
