Plenty of New Years sparkle. I am Poedaughterz on the Highrise game or Poedaughterz on World of Warcraft for New Year's Eve chat. My darn concert plans for Maryland this weekend got cancelled due to problems with weather at the Baltimore Amtrak train station that made the national news so it is going to be a digital video game New Year's Eve for me this year. At least they refunded the ticket fees. I have one million tons of homework emotionally speaking for my master's degree night school anyway so it is not a great time to be social.

Travel Social

I am going out of town to be social on Christmas and New Year's and hear bands. I am also completely single, and hopefully will meet someone to date. I do plan to move away. I am never going out again to hear music in Virginia as it has horrible, violent, crime soaked, pathetic night life. I tried going out in Virginia many times years ago, and just because I was making the best of a bad situation does NOT mean it wasn't horrible, agonizing, and a bad situation. I have met great co-workers and students in Virginia.  However, I have never been constantly scammed, robbed, and treated as abusively horrible in Austin and New Orleans when I lived there as I have been treated dating in Virginia. I can't travel constantly to Austin and New Orleans to see friends, and so I have no choice but to travel to better places nearby in Maryland to see music and friends. I am going to a Master's degree program at night school as I am desperately trying to job hunt FAR away from the nightmare called Virginia. I am sorry some of my family convinced me a while ago to try living in the area it has been a genuinely horrible experience.
