The Dating River

 You are never going to meet someone unless you go out and about meeting people. You are never going to change your luck unless you try. I still keep a pinky toe in the realm of hope that Virginia will stop being horrible. I first found this joke on the Internet when I first moved to Virginia. It seemed all-too-true of the horrifying dating situation of human sewage that is all that I have found here. You can’t really make a diamond out of a heap-of-trash. In other towns my dating situation is great, and that is why I leave so often when I can visit. Unfortunately my family sold our Texas property and moved ALL the houses here. Every year I hope it will the last time I have to update the dates on this photo. I like jokes like this because other people have noticed dating can be an impossible dream, and it feels good NOT to be alone.

Changing at the Gym

 Me changing at the Anytime Fitness gym before a night on the town with Karaoke this week. I am getting started on New Year’s Resolutions BEFORE the new year! Somehow I managed to forget to post for Halloween this year my blue skeleton make-up so here goes that photo as well. People have been hassling me to not use so many filters on my photos, and so these are both photos filter free.

Out and About

 I am extra single for this holiday season. I hate being single, and it makes me extra sad. Lets hope getting out a bit to sing Karaoke this week will change my luck. You are not going to meet anyone new sitting around the house on the sofa!

Too Busy and Other Untrue Things

 I just had two guys in a row say they were “too busy to see me due to work” for an entire month, and so they were dumping me. Then they tried to demand to talk to me later like nothing happened. I know guys working three jobs who still make time for a dinner with a lady and kids. You sir are an abuser and a douche-bag, and are not just a busy person. People wonder how women end up single after age 30, and this is a big part of the problem. Men today love things and money, and not people.

Cool Posters

 Rough week but cool posters at my teaching assignment this week. I don’t know what makes some classes well behaved, and some hear Tina Turner sing in the apocalypse when a new teacher is in class. Last week I had easy to manage kids. This week they were all battling in the Thunderdome the second I took attendance. I called the office, and sent so many kids to detention today.

The Rocky

 I had a great time at the Rocky Horror Picture Show last night. Richmond has a great local cast, and I am going to catch the show more often.
