Scary Halloween Prices
The most true thing on the web right now is people admitting how much they miss having enough money to go out. Gas, cover charge, parking, dinner it all has massively increased to impossible amounts of expensive. I used to go out in Texas with 20 dollars, and come back home with most of it in tact after seeing a concert. Men claim on websites they will pay for dates and never show up, and so you can only go out when you have extra cash yourself. My phone used to be lit up like a Christmas tree before I moved to the toilet known as Virginia. It is particularly annoying as Halloween has great concerts finally headed near here, and all of it looks expensive as a nightmare. No haunted house costume with a chainsaw looks as scary as the prices to get gas for the trip to the haunted house. #scaryhalloweenprices
Early Voting
I did early voting today in Virginia. The political rants I have been on this week may be due to needing to know facts for the election. Political debates today are in fact very scary. Do not skip voting. #electionvote
Loans Cut
I got a BA University degree, and found out I was pregnant less than 2 months after graduation. Part of the reason I earned less after earning a University degree was I could not find low priced daycare for a child with a disability for years. Yes schools need to warn students more about the bad job market. Yes schools also need to have better and more aggressive job placement and job search for graduates. How about lowering the massive price of education? How about offering free childcare to all University and technical school graduate women? None of this is offered. This move is about destroying the paths to empowerment and jobs for all working class women instead of helping education at all.

Not Reviewing
If you buy a garbage product from Amazon they now refuse to let you do reviews. I bought a treadmill pad that did not even work for one day, and came in the mail broken. I tried to write a review calling it the garbage it was made to be. Amazon refused to post the review saying it was negative. Of course it was negative it doesn't function! They would not give me a refund. I used no cuss words, but it is very true that I will mention online that a product was made by human sewage if it was in fact made by human sewage. The Kynecnto walking pad is a very horrible product that no user can warn others about as they pay for fake reviews. #Kynecntowalkpad

Birthday Lunch
Happy Birthday to Alexandria Menzies who I went to Octoberfest and Jason's Deli for birthday party lunch. It was particularly important for Anne to have a nice day before she had to go into the hospital. We ended up not staying at the Octoberfest as the vendor prices and nasty food were horrible. It reminded me that every cell in my body hates the downtown area of Richmond, Virginia. My review is that all of Virginia rates one star for having horrible music and food. I still love seeing music and eating, but going on road trips to other states is the one way to be near anything good.
Out of Contact
I am going to be out of contact with the public for a while. My mom is going into chemo therapy this week and my family has to help her go to doctors appointments. I will not be doing calls, book clubs, podcasts or anything non-essential while this goes on for a while.

Happy Star Trek Day
Star Trek the TV show had the first episode aired on September 8, 1966. In El Paso, TX where I lived as a kid the show was on all the time. I didn't know until later-on that Gene Roddenberry the creator was from El Paso and used to shop at the mall by my house. This is why I still have Star Trek dolls around my room to this day.
